In today’s marketing environment, interactive is like oxygen: It’s everywhere, and it’s necessary for life. Whether your campaign is designed to drive sales
directly or to promote brand awareness for future consideration or consumer engagement, chances are good that the prospects you’re trying to reach spend
more time online than ever before.
To recognize that growing integration, we’re opening the 2011 Interactive Marketing Awards program to include campaigns not only from the brand managers
and promoters who follow our Promo web site http://promomagazine.com but those from the direct-response marketers
who comprise most of the visitors to the Direct page http://directmag.com under the Chief marketer domain
http://chiefmarketer.com.
Some of this year’s categories are new, while others remain the same. Almost all are open to both promotionally-oriented campaigns and those designed
to motivate viewers to buy. However, a reminder: We’re looking for discrete and self-contained campaigns here that ran in 2010, not general marketing
initiatives.
WHO MAY ENTER?
This competition is open to promotion, advertising, direct marketing and p. r. agencies, consultancies, in-house agencies and internal corporate marketing
departments. Eligible campaigns must have ended in the 12 months immediately prior to December 31, 2010 (start date is not a criteria).
HOW ARE ENTRIES JUDGED?
An independent panel of marketing professionals with expertise in interactive marketing is recruited by the editorial staff of Promo. Those judges will
evaluate each entry for that campaign's strengths in:
- Concept, including relevance to the target audience
- Innovative use of technology
- Execution
- Results, which must be quantifiable for full scoring potential
COST: $250 PER ENTRY
NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS
Winners will appear in the April/May issue of Chief Marketer magazine, at http://promomagazine.com/awards/iaawards/2011Categories.pdf and
be and be celebrated in a Webinar
by Chief Marketer.
